I greatly appreciate the many Church growth milestones that were so carefully and lovingly reported in this newsletter. It is interesting to me to note the progress the Church has made in terms of Church growth developments just this year. It has been amazing to watch how things have unfolded, and while some milestones were easy to predict, there were several that took me by surprise. Who would have thought that we'd see so many stakes organized just this year and that this would be the greatest year for Church unit growth milestones in nearly 30 years or so? Even more amazing to me are the mammoth developments that have taken place on the temple news and events front. It is awe-inspiring to see things related to the work of the Lord unfold in the manner they have just this year alone. How wonderful to be a Church member in this time when so much good is happening and so much news and developments are constantly pouring in from all parts of the world. I certainly hope that this year's progress is a foreshadowing of even greater developments for next year. Matt, I want to personally thank you for your efforts to keep us all informed on such developments. Your labor of love and your willingness to share these things has made a remarkable difference in my life. You inspire me. While we reflect on how good the year has been in terms of Church growth, I certainly hope that next year will be even better in terms of all of these things. Happy New Year to you all!
I am especially excited about Bo being 1% LDS and Ivory Coast seeing a 40% increase in the number of stakes.
I meant number of wards and branches for Ivory Coast.
