Just to let you know there are 5 stakes in the DRC, another likely to be created later this year; a stake just across the Congo River in Brazzaville, and the possibilities of several more stakes during 2009. So the area has 7 now with the possibility of several more, which obviously can't be disclosed until they are formed.
Thanks for the information. I created this post back in December of 2007, before the new stake was created in Kinshasa last April. Thanks for the information about other new stakes likely to be formed soon. I'll be anxiously waiting to hear when it happens.
I would be interested in seeing an updated list of the top 10 countries without temples, now that some of these countries have had new temples announced. Also it would be interesting to see a similar list for the top 10 US states without temples.
Fast forward to October 2018 and 9 of those ten have either a temple completed or announced.
