September 2014 Newsletter

  2. The Harare Branch, Harare Zimbabwe Stake, was created on 28 September. There are now 6 wards and 3 branches in the stake:

    Highlands Ward
    Mabelreign Ward
    Mabvuku 1st Ward
    Mabvuku 2nd Ward
    Ruwa Ward
    Tafara Ward
    Acturus Branch
    Enterprise Branch
    Harare Branch


    The Trojan and Woodbrook branches, Bindura Zimbabwe District, Zimbabwe Harare Mission, were created on 21 September. There are now 6 branches in the district:

    Aerodrome Branch
    Bindura Branch
    Chipadze Branch
    Chiwaridzo Branch
    Trojan Branch
    Woodbrook Branch


    The Petit Goave 2nd Ward, Carrefour Haiti Stake, was created on 28 September. There are now 7 wards in the stake:

    Carrefour 1st Ward
    Carrefour 2nd Ward
    Côte-Plage Ward
    Leogane 1st Ward
    Leogane 2nd Ward
    Petit Goave 1st Ward
    Petit Goave 2nd Ward


    The San Ysidro Ward (Spanish), Chula Vista California Stake, was created on 28 September. There are now 10 wards in the stake:

  3. The map of South America with all the town/cities with more than 20 k people and no wards (I suppose that means no branches or groups as well) is amazing. It looks like Brazil alone could use another 10 missions. There are some good sized towns in Colombia.

    Nothing in Chile, which seems to be expected. I was in smaller towns than that that had wards/branches.

    Imagine with India and China, the map would have be 1,000,000 or more. Africa, 500 k or more.
