I am about to graduate with my master's in curriculum design (MSEd Learning Design and Technology) from Purdue. I'd be very interested in collaborating on alternative lesson structures to address different populations. Is that a project you would be interested in collaborating on or just in recommending?

WE are blessed to be seeing the kingdom of God rolling forward unhindered in all sorts of ways, and I cannot wait to see what's next. President Nelson pointed out that in 1981 the church had a grand total of 19 temples. Left unsaid was the fact that in 2018, his first year as the new prophet-leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he had announced plans for exactly 19 new temples. What he did say out loud was that church leaders would dedicate a dozen temples in 2019.
Deivisas, was the prophet including temple re-dedications? If not, there would have to be some major speeding up of the construction process for several temples, or else some of the new ones having groundbreaking next month will have to be done in 6 months. (Rick's temple page currently anticipates 6-7 temples dedicated this year, and another 6-7 re-dedications. This is not including the dedication of Rome in March.)
I would love to see Appleton get a temple. My grandfather was branch president there when Green Bay was part of the brach and so was Stergeon Bay. It was a member out on Stergeon Bay who was the main contributor to building the chapel. My father was baptized in the YMCA pool there in Appleton. They moved to california not long after the Appleton Chaple was built and my father was at the Oakland Temple dedication.
If a temple is announced for Wisconsin, I believe Madison would be the likely location. It's central to the state (plus close enough to serve the Rockford, IL stake) and far enough from Chicago to warrant its existence.

I'm not sure if that 12 includes re-dedications, or is just newly constructed temples. But the article does a good job summing up the last year or so.
